Quick Start Guide

  • 1. Before you begin

    Make sure you have:

    A clean, dry surface

A clean cloth or paper towel

    A squeegee or bank card

Your Ka Ū Ki decal (unused & unpeeled)

For best results, apply your decal in warm, dry conditions.
Avoid application in direct rain, frost, or high moisture.

  • 2. Preparation

    Step 1: Clean the Surface
Wipe the area with a damp cloth or mild cleaner.
Remove dust, dirt, oils, or leftover products.
Dry completely — decals will not stick to moisture.

Step 2: Warm the Surface (Optional but Recommended)
In cold weather, warm the surface with your hands or a hair dryer on low.
This helps the adhesive bond properly.

  • 3. Application

    Step 3: Position Your Decal
Before peeling anything, hold the decal up to check placement.
Make sure it is straight and centred.
If needed, mark guide points with small pieces of tape.

    Step 4: Peel the Backing
Slowly peel the white backing layer away,
ensuring the decal stays stuck to the clear transfer tape.

    Step 5: Apply to Surface
Place the decal onto the surface starting from the centre,
then smooth outward to avoid bubbles.

    Step 6: Squeegee Firmly
Use a squeegee or bank card to press the decal down.
Apply firm pressure across the entire design.

  • 4. Finishing

    Step 7: Remove Transfer Tape
Slowly peel the clear transfer tape away at a sharp angle.
If parts of the decal lift, press them back down and repeat.

    Step 8: Final Check
Press the decal once more with your fingers or card.
Leave the decal untouched for 24 hours for strongest adhesion.

  • Helpful Tips

Avoid washing your vehicle or surface for 24 hours after application.

Decals last longest on smooth, non-porous surfaces.

If removing later, warm with a hair dryer for easier peeling.
